Description
Hawk RS4000
Universal rotary paddle switch for reliable level detection in bulk solids and silos.

We are Exclusive Dealer
Effectively protect your silos against overfilling with the RS4000 rotary paddle switch. This sensor flawlessly detects the level of bulk solids such as grain, cement, or plastic granules. Once the rotating paddle is blocked by the material, you receive an immediate notification. It is a simple yet extremely reliable solution for virtually any industry.

Product Overview
The rotating measuring paddle is driven by a brushless synchronous motor. Once the material reaches the paddle, it stops rotating. This is detected by a microswitch, which subsequently stops the motor and activates the switching output. Once the level drops and the paddle is cleared, the motor restarts automatically and the paddle begins to rotate again.
The slowly rotating measuring paddle is blocked when it becomes covered by bulk solids. The resulting reaction torque is immediately converted into an electrical signal.
For safe and versatile level monitoring of solids in all types of containers and silos. This instrument can be deployed for all bulk solids with a density from 100 g/l.

Applications
Plastics Industry (Granulates & Powders)
Ideal for the storage of plastic granules (pellets) and powders used in injection molding and extrusion. The switch prevents your machines from running dry or the storage silo from overflowing.
Construction Materials & Cement
In this sector, you often deal with significant dust formation. The RS4000 is resistant to this and operates reliably in silos with cement, gypsum, lime, sand, or gravel.
Food & Beverage Industry
Suitable for level monitoring in large storage silos with agricultural bulk products. Think of grain, sugar, salt, flour, or milk powder, where you want to ensure that storage capacity is optimally utilized.
Wood & Paper Industry
Perfect for monitoring bunkers with light but voluminous materials such as wood chips, sawdust, and biomass. The measuring paddle detects these materials without issue, despite their low bulk density.
Chemical Industry
Can be used for various solids and raw materials, such as rubber components, coatings, and foam materials.
