Features
The KRAL OMG series flow meters are durable and provide highly precise measurements. Optional pressure and temperature sensors can be connected. This combination makes the OMG meter ideal for testing and calibration. It is strong, accurate, and suitable for a wide range of applications.
The modular OMG series is versatile in its application. Therefore, these KRAL flow meters are perfectly suited for sectors where flow measurement is critical, such as mechanical engineering, the chemical industry, and shipping.
The OMG series is robust and measures with high precision. Thanks to the screw pump principle, the meters operate smoothly and rapidly. They can accurately track fast changes in flow and do not require stabilization zones. Due to their robust construction, they are well-protected against vibrations and harsh conditions in industrial environments.

Application(s)
Fuel Consumption Measurement in Marine Applications
The OMG series is extremely robust and insensitive to vibrations and mechanical stress, which is essential on board ships. The meter accurately measures the consumption of Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO), Marine Diesel Oil (MDO), and gas oil. Due to its high viscosity range, the meter can measure fuel oil even when heated. Essential for efficiency and emission monitoring.
Measurement of High-Viscosity Liquids
This is the core strength of the OMG meter. Due to the screw spindle principle, the meter can measure extremely viscous liquids with a very low pressure drop: lubricants, hydraulic oils, greases, bitumen, resins, and heavy chemicals.
Test Benches and Calibration Purposes
Due to its exceptionally high accuracy, excellent repeatability, and the possibility of linearization, the OMG series is used in testing and calibration environments. Think of calibration for injection systems, engine test benches, and calibration laboratories where the highest precision is required.
Systems with Pulsations or Rapid Flow Changes
The meter responds very quickly and is resistant to flow fluctuations and pulsations (e.g., caused by pumps or injection systems). The meter can even detect and compensate for return flows in the electronics. This ensures accurate measurement even in harsh conditions.
General Mechanical and Chemical Engineering
The OMG is a universal PD (Positive Displacement) meter suitable for a wide range of applications within general mechanical engineering and chemical processing, thanks to its robust cast iron or steel construction and broad operating range for temperature and pressure.
